Difference between Class 3 Digital Signature issued to Individuals or Individual representing Organizations?
Individual (Class 3a Digital Signature Certificates)
Class 3a Individual certificates issued to individuals or devices and encompass primarily high end security-sensitive online activity.
Organization (Class 3b Digital Signature certificates)
Class 3b Organization digital signature certificates are used for encryption, electronic access control, ecommerce and online financial transactions that require a strong assertion of the customer's identity. The validation procedures for class 3 Organization certificates include confirmation that the organisation does in fact exist, authorization from the organisation for the certificate application.

Class 0 Digital Signature Certificate
This certificate shall be issued only for demonstration/ test purposes.
Class 1 Digital Signature Certificate
Class 1 Digital Signature certificates shall be issued to individuals/private subscribers. These certificates will confirm that users name (or alias) and E-mail address form an unambiguous subject within the Certifying Authorities database.
