Emudhra is a CCA appointed Certification Authority (CA), for providing digital signature Certificate in India. Digital signature issued by emudhra guarantee secure and authentic online transactions for the customer and they can be used for:
Secure email and web-based transactions, or as an identification for other participants of web-based transactions
To prove ownership of a domain name and establish SSL / TLS encrypted secured sessions between your website and the user for web based transactions.
For proving authenticity about the source and content of a code and retaining integrity of the distributed software programs
For signing web based forms, etendering, filing tax returns, access membership based websites automatically without entering a user name and password etc.
e-Mudhra do not refund any fees paid for the issuance of a Digital Certificate after the issuance of the Certificate.
e-Mudhra may decline to issue a Digital Certificate to any person, at its sole discretion, without incurring any liability for any loss or expenses arising out of such refusal. Upon a refusal to issue a Certificate, e-Mudhra.com will refund to the Applicant any paid fees, unless the Certificate Applicant has provided falsified information to the RA or failed to submit documentary evidence in support of the Certificate Application within 15 days of the application.
A notification is sent by emudhra to subscriber that their certificate is ready to be downloaded. Along with this notification, an authentication code to download certificate is also sent to applicant.
Certificates should be downloaded within15 days of the receipt of authentication code and no charge will be levied in case of download fails for any reason during this period.
Downloading the certificate also means the subscribers acceptance of the certificate as delivery of certificate. In case there is a failure during the download process and the certificates are not sent by the CA server, the subscriber may be allowed to download again. In this case subscriber will have to send in a new certificate application request and the old certificate will be revoked. The charges will be at the discretion of e-Mudhra.
