In India, CA operates under the license of Ministry of Information Technology and as per the Rules and Regulations stipulated in the Information Technology Act 2000.

  1. Class 1 digital signature : Only Email address is authenticated
  2. Class 2 digital signature : An individual is verified against an established database and identity is verified with supporting documents.
  3. Class 3 digital signature : An individual is physically verified and identity of individual and an organization is verified with supporting docs.
